Surprise menu

Each morning the cooking starts at eight o’clock. First we make fresh bouillon from a range of vegetables and herbs. This is the basis for the soup of the day and the various sauces for the mani course. The main course consists from every day changing combinations of grains – each with its matching sauce – pulses and steamed and raw vegetables. As dessert one can choose between various cream cheese combinations, fruit salad or pastery. The cream cheese with apricot and banana mousse is very popular. The surprisemenu of the day is written on a blackboard above the counter.

De Werfkring does not serve alcohol, but offers a wide variety of fresh and biological fruit juices, tea and coffee. When communicated 24 hours in advance, we can take into account veganistic preferences or special individual diet wishes. As an experiment, the restaurant is open this summer every day from 12.00 to 21:00 hrs.
